This
book has really brought the time of Nehemiah alive to me. I highly recommend it to those who want to
have more understanding of what it was like to rebuild the city of Jerusalem,
to be a bondservant or a nobleman. The
differences of the classes, to farm or be a shepherd.
Nehemiah’s
story is one of hearing from the God of the Impossible and knowing His
voice. To see God open doors and make a
way for the impossible using a regular man is very faith building to know that
we too can trust God’s voice in what He asks us to do.
I
look forward to reading more titles by Lynn Austin.
